Below are the dedications honoring the dogs we have lost.
Superdog was the dog I needed. He was my heart; he is in my soul – he was my shadow. He was my first. He was at my side everyday good and bad.
I picked him up in Napa - I watched him take a full bowl of water and drag it around the foster house – with all the other foster dogs chasing him for water. He made me smile.
We walked we played we lived at Alamo Square and Buena Vista – every day. You lead me to my people in San Francisco, and you found your dogs – who are all gone now. Together again in your group somewhere.
He made me feel safe, he made me feel needed and loved. And I hope I made him feel the same. He was my home.
He reluctantly got on board with my life as it changed – he became a runner, a bus rider, a dog brother, moved across the country and accepted and loved Kellen.
Kellen made me take a photo of the two of them every morning during the pandemic, our ritual, the best photos.
He was mine and I was his and even when I didn’t notice he only had eyes for me.
I think about him every time I see and pet a dog. He is always there and always will be. Superdog you are my favorite and always will be. He was the best.
Superdog I love you forever.
Mouth farts forever.
I was never lonely in my house as a kid before I started school because my mother had a dog - Superdog. He kept me company every day. He loved me when I was around and we shared breakfast. He was just the sweetest dog ever. I loved him and he was my first dog ever. I just wanted to say, I miss him, and I hope he had a good time in his life and I hope he loved his life and family. I hope he still loves me up in heaven and I love him forever.
Kellen 10 years.
